Weekly Wrap Up | 28/12

Hello everyone, and merry Christmas if you celebrate. I have missed wrapping up my weeks reading these last few months, and I thought what better time to bring it back than at the end of the year from hell!!

Enjoy my weekly wrap up (28/12) for the last week!

Books Read

Lost Children Archive by Valeria Luiselli

I listened to the audiobook of this novel on my last few days of work before Christmas, and I thought it was ok. It felt to me like it was trying too hard to do too many things at once, and it ended up not really doing any of them.

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers

This book has been recommended to me so many times, and like an idiot I just never picked it up. Boy what a fool I am! This book is incredible, it is a brilliant space opera which reminds me of all the reasons I love Firefly, and I cannot wait to read the rest of these books!!

Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn

I decided to re-read this book after I enjoyed it so much in the spring-time. I am so glad to say it didn’t disappoint at all, it was just as good!! Cam and Ada are one of my relationships of the year for sure, so so good!!

Currently Reading

Claudine at School by Colette

This was recommended to me by a friend, and I am intrigued by it so far, its giving me strong Anne of Green Gables vibes but a little more risqué!!

Watched and Listened

Ghosts Christmas Special

I love BBC Ghosts so much, and the Christmas special was as brilliant as usual, packed full of jokes and laugh out loud moments!!

Jojo Rabbit

I watched this with my family, and I had such high expectations and this movie did not disappoint!! I love Taika Waititi so much, I will watch anything he directs!!

There we are, that’s my Weekly Wrap Up (28/12) for last week. I am on furlough now so I’m hoping to fly through a lot of books now I have no work for a few weeks!

Happy reading!
