Hello everyone, it’s time for the final Six for Sunday post of 2019! These are hosted by the lovely Steph at A Little But A Lot I have loved taking part in these posts, and I’m excited to continue them in 2020!

This week’s post theme is New Year, New Books, and I thought I would take this opportunity to shout about 6 books that I am very excited to release in 2020!

The Glass Hotel by Emily St. John Mandel

Emily St. John Mandel is an author that I only discovered about half way through 2019 on the recommendation of my friend Kenneth, who loves her books.

I am looking forward to this book a lot, her writing style and the way she writes her characters are beautiful and unique, and this is definitely a book I’m anticipating in 2020!!

The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant

The court of miracles This novel is being hyped as a combination of Les Miserables and Six of Crows, and with that sort of hype, I can’t help but be excited for it!

I actually have a proof copy of the novel, and it’s on the top of my TBR because I definitely can’t wait until June!!

Burn by Patrick Ness

Burn I love Patrick Ness, and I was very excited to see he was releasing a new book in 2020, so obviously it has to be on the list!

The novel also features dragons and the FBI, which is a combination I cannot wait to read!!

Viper’s Daughter by Michelle Paver

Vipersdaughter2 The Wolf Brother series are some of my favourite children’s books ever, and I am very excited to see a new one is being released!

I love the characters and the setting of these novels so much, and I can’t wait to be immersed again in Torak and Renn’s world!

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

The ballad of songbirds and snakes I imagine this book is featuring on quite a lot of anticipated releases of 2020 lists, but it’s such a good trilogy and I am so excited to see what Collins is going to do with this novel!

I loved learning more about the history of the Games and how the Districts came to exist, so I am really looking forward to learning more about the world of The Hunger Games too!

Infinity Son by Adam Silvera

Infinity son This novel is one that I have heard so much excitement about online, and I am really looking forward to it coming out and getting stuck into it. I’ve never read any of Silvera’s other work, although it has been recommended to me a lot!!
