Weekly Wrap Up | 16/10

Hello, welcome to another weekly wrap up (16/10) post! I have been particularly lacking on posting these, I’m trying to get them up more regularly! This wrap up is quite light, I didn’t read as much as I wanted to, but I did watch a very Halloweeny tv show!
Books Read

Hazardous Spirits by Anbara Salam
I was very lucky to be sent a proof copy of this novel from Hodder. It’s a historical novel set in 1920s Edinburgh featuring seances, spirits and some very lavish parties!

Currently Reading

Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews
This is my audiobook of choice at the moment, not sure what drew me to it originally, but I placed a hold at the library and it came through! I’m enjoying this one a lot, its perfectly fitting the spooky vibes of October, and there’s plenty of characters to hate!

Up Next

Pax and the Missing Head by David Barker
I’m very excited to be a part of the blog tour for this middle grade graphic novel later this month, and I’m looking forward to reading it!

The Wager by David Grann
This is my next audiobook choice. I really enjoy listening to non-fiction audiobooks, and this one looks like it will be really interesting!

Watching

Interview with the Vampire
Since it’s Halloween month, I thought I would watch a tv show I have been patiently waiting for, which would perfectly fit the theme! This is an excellent and very gory tv show, which is on BBC IPlayer if anyone fancies it (although I would recommend not watching while eating!)
Thank you for reading my Weekly Wrap Up (16/10) How has your week been? Let me know in the comments!
