I was so intrigued by the blurb of this novel as soon as I read it, a cinema that draws the characters into the movie, awesome! I must admit that this novel didn’t quite hit the spot for me. There are some huge twists in the novel which actually took the book away from what I wanted it to do, which was disappointing. But this is a wholly personal view, I just went into the novel expecting something different!

The plot is nonstop, from page 1 the characters and the readers are thrown head first into the action. For this reason the novel did read extremely quickly. The characters move from one action scene to the next at breakneck speed, and the drama never stops!

I enjoyed the group of friends that the novel focuses on, Lucas the main character is a well developed character and the group dynamics are fun to read.

Overall I liked Black Hole Cinema Club. It is an action-packed and quick novel to read, with some fun twists and turns!
