The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton

I was lucky enough to get an eARC of this dystopian mystery novel from Bloomsbury and NetGalley. It’s an intriguing idea for a novel, a murder mystery with the last survivors of the apocalypse, sounds interesting! I liked it but I didn’t love it as much as I hoped to.

Jayben and the Golden Torch

I picked this novel up on a whim from a bookshop, as I love all things middle grade fantasy. This novel tells the story of Ben who it turns out is a hero who is destined to save the world, except he has no memory. I’m not far into it, but it’s fun so far, and seems to have some nice disability rep.

The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud

This is my audiobook of choice for the moment, and it’s a book I’ve had on my TBR pile for ages. I am loving listening to it, it’s everything I love in middle grade. I’m saving the tv show for after I’ve finished it!

The Tourist

I missed this Australian set tv show when series 1 came out, but series 2 being released reminded me I wanted to watch. It’s a very fun thriller, with a good handful of humour in every episode which helps alleviate from some dark scenes! I would recommend!
