High Vinyl No. 1 by Carly Usdin & Nina Vakueva

This comic book series will be a theme of this weekly wrap up, I began reading it at the beginning of the week, and it’s so good!! It’s about a group of girls who work at a record shop, and also fight crime!

Heavy Vinyl No. 2

Yes, it continues! I am really enjoying this series, they are available on Scribd, and I would highly recommend them!

Half a King by Joe Abercrombie

This is the first Joe Abercrombie book I have actually read, and I really enjoyed it. This is the first in a fantasy trilogy about a king who tries to retake his throne. It has pirate ships and snowy treks, and it’s a fast-paced adventure of a novel!

Wonderscape by Jennifer Bell

This book is a wonderful kids book about three characters who get sucked into a futuristic video game! It’s published on the 4th of June and I highly recommend it!

The Rental Heart and Other Fairytales by Kirsty Logan

I love Kirsty Logan’s writing, and I’ve had this collection of her short stories on my shelf for a while, and I finally got around to picking them up. They are a brilliant collection, with a nice mix of stories, all with Logan’s signature gothic feel!
