Bookish (And Not So Bookish) Thought #4
This is a weekly blog meme hosted by Bookishly Boisterous (link here) where you can write about anything that’s happening in your life, book related or not! ~ 1. Firstly apologies for the lack of posts over the last month or so. I’ve been in a massive panic trying to find another flat to stay in after my landlord asked me to move out of my current one. The stress was multiplied because my flatmate is away in America for the whole summer, so I have had to sort everything myself. Kindle Kandy #1
Kindle Kandy is a Friday weekly bookish feature hosted at The Book Dame. We scan our shelves and ereaders to rediscover books that we own but have not read, to this point little more than shelf or Kindle Kandy. To many books and too little time and all that jazz. This looked like a great idea for a feature, and I am very guilty for buying loads of books on Kindle, (especially if they’re on offer!!) and then forgetting I own them. This looked like a fun way of discovering those books that I’d forgotten about. Charles Dickens created some of the most memorable characters in English literature and was…

Top 15 Books to Read in 2015
These are 15 books that I have in my TBR pile that I want to get through by the end of this year! V for Vendetta- Alan Moore and David Lloyd. This is a graphic novel that I bought last year, but I really want to get through it soon, as I really enjoyed the movie, and I’ve heard the graphic novel is excellent. Alan Turing: The Enigma- Andrew Hodges. I bought this novel just at the end of 2014, after I went to see The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch. This novel looks like a really interesting and deep insight into Turing and the work he did during the…
