Unsouled by Will Wight

I picked this novel up on a whim seeing it was 70p on Kindle. This is a fantasy/sci-fi novel, the first in quite a long series. I enjoyed this first book, it was only 300ish pages, and did a lot of set up for the following books.

The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins

I have had this book on my TBR pile for a while, and as it is a standalone fantasy I decided this week was the perfect time to read it! This is a funny, dark and very well crafted fantasy novel which I really enjoyed. It has loads of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, and some very morally grey characters!

Currently Reading

Gallant by V.E. Schwab

This is my audiobook of the moment, it’s a very slim novel, described as The Secret Garden meets Crimson Peak. I was intrigued from that description alone!

A Tomb With a View by Peter Ross

I have had this book since it was published, and never quite felt like it was a good time to pick it up. However I needed a palette cleanser, so this felt like the right time!

Fallout

I’ve seen a lot of clips of this show on TikTok, and decided I had to see what it was all about! It’s fun, I don’t know the games, but I’m enjoying it!
