February TBR – A long TBR for a short month!
Hello, welcome to my February TBR! We may be halfway through the month, but there’s always time to chat about the books we want to read!I’m hoping to get to 11 books in February, which I think is a touch optimistic, but hey ho! Let’s see the books I want to read in my February TBR!
The Christie Affair by Nina De Gramont
One of my reading goals for 2022 is to read some Agatha Christie novels, and this just seemed to match that goal rather well. This novel is an imagining of what happened to Christie when she disappeared for 11 days. This is intriguing to me, a kind of mystery novel, I’m looking forward to it!

Tilly and the Map of Stories by Anna James
I love the Pages & Co series by Anna James, and I’m really enjoying picking up one every month! I love being swept away in these novels of magic and books, they are perfect comfort reads!

Our Lady of Mysterious Ailments by T.L. Huchu
This is the second book in the Edinburgh Nights series, a brilliant fantasy series set in a dystopian Edinburgh. I loved the setting and the characters in the first book, so I'm excited to revisit them! Pre order from Waterstones or Bookshop.org
Perfectly Preventable Deaths by Deirdre Sullivan
This is a YA book that I have only just added to my TBR (look at me reading my TBR quickly!!). This is a spooky YA with witchcraft, all of my favourite things, which I have heard a lot of good things about!

Before They Are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie
I am aiming to finish more series in 2022, and I started this trilogy last year but I am going to finish it soon! I love these dark fantasy novels, and I can’t wait to read all of Abercrombie’s other novels!

Sabotage on the Solar Express by M.G. Leonard & Sam Sedgman
Another one of my favourite series is the Adventures on Trains series, and I’m very excited to experience another adventure! These are anther brill comfort read for me, the settings are so cool and the stakes just keep getting higher!!

Absynthe by Brendan P. Bellecourt
I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book from Head of Zeus, and I am excited! This is a thriller with nods to Inception and The Great Gatsby, two of my favourites, so I am intrigued by this!

Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong
Apparently this month is one of continuing series, I’m hoping to finish this duology too! I loved These Violent Delights, a Romeo and Juliet retelling set in 1920s Shanghai, so I am excited to get back into this world!

The Curse That Binds Us by Katie Hayoz
I have a e-ARC of this book, honestly I don’t know all that much about it. I think it’s a combo of contemporary and historical fiction, and it sounded very intriguing to me!

The Peculiar Tale of the Tentacle Boy by Richard Pickard
This looks like a super fun middle grade novel which has been on my TBR for a few months now. I love a middle grade fantasy, and this one has the most amazing sprayed edges on the novel!

The Bone Ships by RJ Barker
The final book in this TBR is this fantasy novel which I have heard so many amazing things about. I’m not sure if I will actually manage to get to this book in February, but if not I’ll roll it over into March!
