Weekly Book Haul
Hello, I hope you are all keeping safe and well. Today I am here with a book haul, although I haven’t been physically inside a bookstore, I did place a wee Waterstones order, and have received some books for review, so I thought it might be fun to share what I have hauled!
Books I Bought!
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
This is the Waterstones Collectors Edition, I have owned Six of Crows in this edition for a while, and I finally decided to treat myself to the matching Crooked Kingdom edition. I want to re-read these books soon, they were two of my faves of 2019!
Adrift by Rob Boffard
I saw this book on Justine’s (I Should Read That) YouTube video about underrated Science Fiction books. This looks like a great space adventure, and it’s exactly what I’m in the mood for!
The Hangman’s Daughter (The Bastard Legion #1) by Gavin Smith
This book also came from Justine’s video, another space novel, about a prison in space and a group of mercenaries!

This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2020, and I was very excited to receive a copy in the post this week! Thanks to BKMRK Publishers for the proof copy!
The Crow Rider by Kalyn Josephson
This is the sequel to The Storm Crow, and I was lucky enough to receive an e-ARC of this novel from Sourcebooks.
The Damned by Renee Ahdieh
Another sequel, this is the second book in The Beautiful series, thanks to Hodder & Stoughton for the e-ARC.
Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust
Apart from the gorgeous cover, I have had my eye on this book for months, and it has gone right to the top of my TBR pile! Thanks to Hodder & Stoughton again!
Wench by Maxine Kaplan.
This novel isn’t published until January of next year!!!! So I’m not worrying about it too much at the moment, but this looks like a great YA fantasy about a tavern wench, which is already different and intriguing.
The Kingdom of the Gods by In-Wan Youn
This one is slightly different to every other book in this list. This is a manga, and is what the Netflix zombie series Kingdom is based upon. I love manga, and I love zombies so it.s a win win! Thanks to Viz Media for the e-ARC.
Burn by Patrick Ness
Another one of my most anticipated reads of 2020, I was very excited to get an e-ARC of this book, and I have already started it!! Thanks to Walker Books!
Phoenix Extravagant by Yoon Ha Lee
Another dragon book, I just can’t resist them! I haven’t read anything by this author but I’ve heard good things so I’m excited to read it!
There we are! These are all the books that I bought myself and received in the past week! It is quite a lot of review books, but some of these don’t come out for a good few months, and I do have a lot of time at the moment!
