September Wrap Up

Monday, 30 September 2013
Firstly I would like to apologise for being away for so long, I realise it has been over a month!!
As this is the first post I have done in a while, I thought I would start with a quick wrap up of the books I read in September. I'll be honest, it's not a huge list!.......... To be perfectly honest, it's only two ;)

The first book I read was Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. This is the first book in the Bloodlines series, which follows some of the characters we met briefly in the Vampire Academy series by the same author. I really enjoyed this novel, it was a good beginning to a series which I hope I will enjoy as much as the Vampire Academy series. I gave this novel 4/5 stars.
The second, and last book I read this month, was The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson. This is the first of Maureen Johnson's novels I have read, and I quite enjoyed it. I gave this one 4/5 as well. I was initially attracted to this novel because of its setting in London and the Jack the Ripper theme, and it didn't disappoint on any of these fronts.
I do plan on reviewing these books at some point, but I can't make any promises. Hopefully my October TBR will be up later this week! :)

  1. I'm glad you enjoyed The Name of the Star. I purchased both it and The Madness Underneath earlier this year, but I haven't had a chance to read them yet. Looking forward to your review.

Don't worry about the Bloodlines series - it's still going strong!
