August TBR

Monday, 3 August 2015
I'm hoping to read a few more books this month than I did last month, or I'll never meet my Goodreads challenge. I'm going away on holiday for a week, so hopefully this will give me a chance to catch up with my reading!

Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer

I've got a copy of this novel from Net Galley, which I'm hoping to read this month. This is a science fiction novel that I've not heard a lot about, but it looks like there may be some aliens involved, which is always a good thing!!

All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

This is the second book on my TBR from Net Galley, and unlike the other one, I've heard loads of things about this one!! It's been compared to The Book Thief, as it's a historical novel set in Nazi Paris. It's also won and been nominated for quite a few awards, so I'm excited to see my opinions of it!!

Quiet by Susan Cain

I'm trying to read more non-fiction, and I've had this book in my TBR pile for ages so I thought this would be a good place to start. This is a book all about being an Introvert, and it looks like a really fascinating read!

The Giver by Lois Lowry

This is another book that I've had on my TBR pile for ages, and I've been meaning to get around to it for ages. It's also been made into a movie recently, so hopefully I can do a Book to Movie Adaptation review too!

City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

This is the third book in the Mortal Instruments series, and its been quite a long time since I dived into the world of Clary and the Shadowhunters, so hopefully I can make it to this book, and possibly get the rest of the series finished in the next couple of months!!
